Since 2018, Zeynep Testoni (Soul Clay Studios), Donna Weatherby (Crooked River Pottery), and Frances Smith (Kiama Ceramic Art Studio) have worked together to share their passion for ceramics with the people of the South Coast. While each studio is independently owned and operated, the trio chose collaboration over competition—driven by a shared commitment to providing high-quality educational pottery experiences and celebrating the beauty of handmade ceramics.

In 2025, this spirit of collaboration grew to include ceramic artists from the Illawarra, Kiama, Shoalhaven, Milton, and Far South Coast regions. Together, they launched the inaugural South Coast Ceramics Market at The Co-Op Gerringong. This vibrant new annual event brings together talented makers under one roof to showcase and celebrate the richness of local, handcrafted ceramic art.
